It is hard not to fall in love with La Ferme à Mamy the second you step through the farmhouse door. At more than 240 years old, it is steeped in history. Think cosy nooks, huge wooden beams, slate floors, thick stone walls, and all of this right in the centre of Morzine, 4 minutes from the ski lifts.

Sit and gaze at the stars or watch skiers from the chalet hot tub, play games in the large hallway, hide presents by the huge wooden sleigh in the ‘loft’, let the children's imaginations run wild through the hobbit door into the loft bedroom, play table tennis or table football in the garage, read in the snug, or prepare dinner in peace (or hire a chef) in the kitchen. The space on offer is incredible, and centuries-old stone walls mean that the chalet is insulated from noise outside and in. The seven beautiful bedrooms offer generous space and plenty of storage.
