Covid policy: (updated from 14 Jan 2021)

  • Please make sure you have good travel insurance with Covid cover at the time of booking, this must include cancelations, government lock downs and border closures.
  • You must adhere to all testing required to travel and we will not be responsible for any costs that this may incur. Testing is a constantly changing subject which is out of our control.

Confirmation of booking & deposits:

Once you have made a provisional booking, Snowytrees will reserve your holiday for up to 3 working days, by which time we must have received a deposit of 25% of the total rental cost. Upon receipt of this, we will send you a confirmation of booking showing what you have booked, the balance and when it is due. A contract exists between you and Snowytrees when we dispatch your confirmation. If booking within ten weeks of departure, you must send the full balance of the holiday.

Balance:

Full payment of the balance as shown on the confirmation of booking must reach us at least 8 weeks before departure. If it does not, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and levy cancellation charges as detailed below.

Alterations by us:

In the unlikely event of any alteration made by us to your holiday, such as date changes, room changes or chalet changes, we shall let you know as soon as possible and offer you:

An alternative holiday of a comparable standard.

The altered holiday with an appropriate refund.

Cancellation with a prompt refund up to the cost paid by you to us. We cannot be responsible for refund of any costs incurred with parties other than ourselves.

Alterations by you:

In the event that you wish to amend your holiday in any way, we shall do our best to accommodate any changes although, in the event that we cannot meet your request we reserve that right to treat the booking as cancelled and cancellation charges as detailed below will apply.

Cancellation of your holiday:

Should you cancel your holiday for whatever reason, you must let Snowytrees know immediately. The following cancellation charges shall apply and depend upon when notification is received from you in writing.

Number of weeks before departure % of total cost of holiday to be paid to Snowytrees.

12 or more Deposit to be paid

8-12 weeks 50% to be paid

Under 8 weeks 100% to be paid

If no written notice of cancellation is received and you do not travel, cancellation is deemed to have been received on the day of departure. We strongly advise to taking out travel insurance that includes cancellation and cover for personal belongings and public liability.

Chalet bedrooms:

Chalet bedrooms can vary in size and decoration. No supplements are charged for ensuite facilities.

Force Majeure:

Snowytrees cannot be held responsible in the event of any change or cancellation of any part of your holiday in anyway because of terrorist activity, pandemics, fire, natural or nuclear disaster, industrial dispute, adverse weather conditions, or any other circumstances which are beyond our control.

Customer liability:

We reserve the right to recover from customers the cost of breakages, damage to accommodation etc. caused with or without intent by that customer. Snowytrees does not accept liability for financial loss or damage to property suffered by you.

Group Amendments:

Any changes made to your group after the time of booking must be communicated to us. Any addition in numbers will not be permitted to stay in the chalet without notice. Additions beyond the standard occupancy of the chalet require special arrangements and additional charges may occur.

Complaints:

In the event that you should have any complaints with your holiday you must inform Snowytrees as soon as possible. If we are unable to resolve the problem to your satisfaction, you must confirm details of the complaint in writing within 28 days of your return to the UK.

Your Behaviour:

We reserve the right to ask any of our guests to leave if they are rude and or insulting to Snowytrees. Any behaviour that is deemed offensive and dangerous to you, staff and other guests will be deemed as a breach of this contract.

Snowytrees have the right to terminate the contract and can ask undesirables to leave with no refunds whatsoever.

Ski guiding:

New regulations regarding ski guiding have recently been introduced in France. Snowytrees are able to offer you advice regarding the area and the runs but  may not accompany you on the mountain. 

Insurance:

It is vital that all members of your party have comprehensive travel insurance suitable for mountain activities and now Covid 19.

Smoking policy:

Please note that our chalet operates a no smoking policy. No smoking is allowed inside the chalets as this is deemed as a fire risk.
